Reika Suzuki-Macklin has been appointed Accompanist to the Sydney Male Choir from June 2024.
She completed her high school studies at the Sydney Conservatorium High School in 2020, attaining her LMusA in 2019 for piano under the tutelage of Phillip Shovk, and learned violin under the guidance of Nadia Monastrysky.

The Sydney Male Choir and a 63 piece Symphony Orchestra took part in the screening of “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie on Saturday 16 June before a Matinee audience in excess of 4,000 and an evening screening before about 8,000.

A number of choristers received long service awards for 20, and 25 years membership and also our newly instituted “Hero Award” for coming back from the “brink” and becoming an active chorister with the SMC.
